Rod Washington - Co-Founder and President
Rod's breadth of skills and experiences - from professional musician, entrepreneur and social change agent to organizational expert and business consultant - are key assets to AudibleFaith. As a music professional, Rod has been involved in many aspects of the industry. He is a published songwriter and studio vocalist/arranger who has contributed to projects spanning nearly every musical genre. Rod is a former music instructor and has performed in many venues throughout the San Francisco Bay area as well as nationally. Having previously composed, recorded and produced two projects with BayMarin Community Church, he is currently at work on his third album and first solo project.
Rod is the founder of Equal Access, a program designed to help students of color get in, stay in and complete college. He has worked for and with several other non-profits including BayMarin Community Church, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, College Kids and Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
As an Organizational Development consultant, Rod has worked with both businesses and non-profits, specializing in New Business Development, Change Leadership, Transformative Teams, and Holistic Business. Rod's AudibleFaith.com responsibilities include overall corporate and business management, business model and corporate strategy development, Artist Development, strategic partnering, fundraising and image development and promotion. He authored the AudibleFaith business plan, developed company's corporate strategy, and created and oversees our artist review/selection process.
Rod holds a BA from Oklahoma University in Psychology, a Masters of Divinity from Golden Gate Seminary and is pursuing an MBA at Golden Gate University.
