Go Where the Peace Is - The Songwriters

"Go Where The Peace Is", the title cut was inspired by two major events in my life and Ministry. 1. I was facing the "Decision of Decisions" in my life and ministry, so I went to see Pastor John Osteen, my Spiritual Daddy, to receive some Godly counsel. At the end of my 30 minute explanation of the situation, I anxiously awaited (what I expected to be a lengthy, Super-Spiritual response). Instead, Pastor John simply smiled and said: "Dana, follow HIS Peace".

2. When my Dad was facing death in a hospital. (Jesus had used me just six months prior to minister healing to my Dad when he almost died at my home in Nashville… until the "Prince of Peace" took over.) When I arrived at the hospital my inclination was to try to remember to "DO & Say EXACTLY" what I had said and done six months earlier. This time as I prayed the same "Healing Scriptures", anointed him with oil, etc. - but there was one thing missing... Gods’ Peace. It's a long complicated story, but in the end, at

God’s direction, we gathered around my Dad, & prayed for HIS WILL ... Gods’ Peace flooded the room along with our hearts and my daddy graduated.

The Lord has used this song, along with each and every song/psalm on this CD to do so many miracles, in so many lives! But to me, none are greater than the one HE did in my heart when I learned that and He really is the "Prince of Peace"and When I follow His Peace, I always find Him.

"No Weapon" aka "No Weapon Formed" aka "No Weapon Formed Against Us" is one of the best known songs on this CD. It becomes a song of warfare against "principalities and powers" as we draw the "Sword or the Spirit" out of the sheath of our hearts: Speaking/Singing HIS Word from IS 54:17.

The "CHORUS" of "No Weapon" has been recorded by "PETRA", "HOSANNA", "Jeanne Rogers" and many others and is sung regularly around the world in churches, concerts, conferences and crusades.

I find it interesting that thus far, there has been no "Major" release of the song in its entirety. Perhaps that time is near. May God bless you "beyond, beyond" as you partake of HIS WORD in this music.
